Jerry Lawler health updates — WWE star in hospital after suffering stroke as well wishes rush in for ‘The King’
WWE STAR Jerry “The King” Lawler was taken to the hospital on Monday after experiencing a medical emergency.
The 73-year-old underwent surgery after having a stroke at a Florida hospital.
The WWE and Lawler’s family have not released any official statements.
Fellow wrestler Ricky Morton took to Twitter to comment on Lawler’s health, tweeting: “I hope my friend is going to be okay. I love you, Jerry.
“Genuinely appreciate it & hope to hear good news in the very near future.”
Lawler recently made an appearance on the panel for the Royal Rumble 2023 Kick-off Show as well as the WWE Raw 30th anniversary show.
Over the weekend, he performed a signing in Florida as well.
