What has been said?

Ten Hag praised his team for playing well against Arsenal despite the result.

He believed the officiating and VAR decisions stopped his side from getting anything from the game.

The Dutchman said: “The performance was alright from us. I thought we played a very good game but everything went against us – then you don’t win the game.”

He added: “You can say you need to finish your chances and that you shouldn’t concede a goal after going 1-0 up. This is all true, but I was happy with the performance.”

De Zerbi believes Ferguson has the ability to become Europe’s top goalscorer following his hat-trick against Newcastle.

He said: “He can become big, big, big. His qualities are enough to become a great player. He can become one of the best, the top scorer in Europe. He was born in 2004, he’s 18. I don’t know how many players are young, that score like him.”
