A LUXURIOUS “super-gym” frequently visited by footballers and celebrities including Cristiano Ronaldo has been named the best in the UK.

Also known as “Clare’s Space”, the gym first opened in October 2020 and is the brainchild of fitness guru Clare Stobart.

Before his acrimonious exit from Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo and partner Georgina were regulars and often shared photos using the grand facilities.

Clare dreamed of creating the perfect gym space and spent years researching the world’s best gyms and heading to the biggest fitness conventions.

And her renowned gym is now celebrating after fighting off competition to scoop two titles at the National Fitness Awards.

It has been crowned Health Club of the Year and Boutique Facility of the Year, reports MEN.

Clare’s top-class health space doesn’t come cheap though, and costs full members a whopping £395 a month.

But the super-exclusive gym is said to be well worth the money thanks to its state-of-the-art equipment.

If you choose to join up you will receive your own smart-watch that you can use to track your progress at the gym.

The Cryochamber is very popular for top athletes who find the low-temperature therapy pod aids with recovery, as it is said to help muscles recover after high intensity workouts.

Also popular is the quirky step workout found in the main gym space.

The unique exercise machine shows just how many steps you need to walk up to do the equivalent of landmarks like Big Ben (186 steps), the Eiffel Tower (926 steps) or even to the top of Mount Everest (25,280 steps).

And when you’ve completed your gruelling workout, you can always use the large adult tube slide to get back down again.

CPASE have also just added a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy tank for use of members.

It means you can gain numerous health benefits while relaxing and watching TV inside an exclusive two person luxury chamber.

The treatment involves wearing an oxygen mask and “breathing pure oxygen” throughout the duration of the session.

Classes at the gym range from trapeze yoga to high-intensity Cyclo Skill Bike spin sessions.

While the sparkling pool and sauna provide a place to swim and relax after a intense workout.

The health club even has it’s own cafe, April’s Kitchen, serving up freshly made health foods as well as a games room for relaxing with pals.

National Fitness Awards’ director Dominic Musgrave said: “This year’s winners should be very very proud – the high standard of entries made it a tough job to select a final shortlist never mind a winner and runner-up in each category.

“Our awards’ night was a great celebration of the fitness industry as a whole and it was great to see so many gyms represented at the event.

“It was a wonderful evening and it was lovely to share in the celebrations of the winners.”

Owner Clare added: “This is a really amazing achievement for us.

“Our aim has always been to have everything here at the highest level and to be the best boutique health club in the UK.

“We believe we are Cheshire’s most exclusive gym as we keep it capped at 800 members.”

Now Clare hopes to continue plans to expand and develop the gym at the site on Faulkner’s Lane with a new private entrance from the lane and plans to create new fitness studios.
