Ibori’s Daughter, Husband Visit Akpabio (Photos)

The daughter of the former governor of Delta State James Ibori, Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu on Wednesday paid a visit to Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Naija News reports that the member of the House of Representatives was accompanied on the visit by her husband Shakiru Suenu.

Taking to her social media to share photos from the visit, Ibori-Suenu; “Earlier today, I visited the office of President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio with my lovely Husband Prince Shakiru Abioye Suenu.”

On Tuesday night, Ibori hosted Akpabio at his Abuja home.

In a social media post, he said: “It was indeed a great pleasure to host the President of the Senate H.E. Godswill Akpabio last night. I wish him Gods grace, guidance and wisdom in his new assignment.”

Akpabio Announces Chairmen, Vice Chairmen Of Senate Committees

Meanwhile, Senate President Godswill Akpabio have announced the chairmen, vice chairmen, and members of some Senate standing committees for the 10th National Assembly.

Naija News reports Akpabio made the announcement of the leadership and composition of the committees during the plenary on Tuesday.

The committees announced include; the Senate Committee on Rules and Business, the Senate Committee on Senate Services, the Senate Committee on Appropriations, the Senate Committee on Ethics, Code of Conduct and Public Petitions, the Senate Committee on Public Accounts, the Senate Committee on National Security and Intelligence and Senate Committee on Legislative Compliance.
