The cold war between the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and his predecessor in office as the Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso has taken another turn.
This is as Ganduje suggested that Kwankwaso’s doctorate degree may not be authentic.
Naija News reports the APC Chairman stated this on Monday when he received some of his loyalists and party supporters from Kano state, who paid him a courtesy visit at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.
Ganduje as captured in a video clip which has gone viral on the internet said Kwankwaso is an “illiterate who cannot understand what a master plan is.”
The APC Chairman then challenged the 2023 presidential candidate to come out with his Ph.D. certificate if it is genuine like his own.
“I am ready to produce my PhD certificate for everybody to see that I’m real and by doing so, I’m challenging Kwankwaso to also come out with his PhD certificate to show that he is a Doctorate degree holder like me,” Ganduje said in the clip.
Earlier, this platform had reported that Ganduje during the meeting, also mocked his predecessor in Kano State, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, over his failure to be appointed as a minister.
In a 28-second viral video, Ganduje accused the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) of supporting the contentious demolition of buildings in Kano.
The APC chairman said the demolition of buildings approved by his administration was the only way Kwankwaso and his political godson and Kano governor, Abba Yusuf, could express their frustration.
