How Some Top Nigerian Celebrities Reacted After Davido And Wizkid Squash Their Long-Time Beef At A Night Club

The Nigerian entertainment industry was thrown into jubilation after a video that saw DMW front-line act/owner Davido approach the Grammy-winning artist Wizkid, hugging and embracing each other for a long time while exchanging pleasantries, in the early hours of January 22, 2022.

Naija News recalls that the singers, Davido and Wizkid have been at loggerhead for a long time for unknown reasons, but it is believed that thebeef stemmed from zealous fans of both singers pitching Wizkid’s achievement against Davido.

Following the squashing of their beef, some celebrities took to their social media platform to express gladness while other revealed what the singers reconciliation means.

Peter Okoye of Psquare, took to his micro blogging handle, Twitter  to express gladness over the development. According to him, love and wind of change is all the entertainment industry.  He wrote; ‘Peace everywhere! Love and wind of change is all we need’

Nigerian singer, Tuface Idibia took to his Instagram page to express joy over the sudden reconciliation over the duo. According to the legendary singer, the reunion is putting a smile on his face. He said: “This put a smile on my face but Abeg Una let my song and video trend small. “Run up my numbers biko, no distractions.”

While for popular Nigerian singer, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf better know as  CDQ also reacted to the reunion of talented Afrobeat singers, revealing how he suffered for years trying to get them both back together. The singer also noted that he knew the two singers lowkey love each other and were inspiring each other to go harder.

He also disclosed that he’d be buying two big cows to celebrate the reconciliation.
