Horse racing tips: Templegate’s 5-2 NAP is on a great mark while this 11-1 serial winner looks overpriced
TEMPLEGATE takes on Friday’s racing confident of finding a few winners from the all-weather action.

BLUE CARACAO (6.15 Kempton, nap)
She shaped well in third on handicap debut at Southwell last time despite missing the break. Richard Hannon’s filly was then hampered a couple of times as she made her challenge. She’s off the same mark and can take a step forward to win.
JUNKANOO (5.15 Kempton, nb)
He won here two runs ago and went close again last time, coming home second. This extra furlong can help him get back in front from what still looks a fair handicap mark.
BOBBY JOE LEG (4.25 Southwell, treble)
He has already scored three times this winter and nearly made it four when beaten a nose here last time. The handicapper has left his mark alone and he can strike.

BLUE CURACAO was hampered a few times before finishing well into third at Southwell last time. That was her handicap debut and she stays off the same mark here.
Ready Reckoner looked capable of figuring in a race like this at Lingfield latest, while Speziato should do better upped to this trip.
BERWICK LAW 2
LAW breaker. Hasn’t shown a lot so far and has been well beaten in both handicaps he’s tried. Likes to front run so has the ideal jockey in Franny Norton but must improve.
THE ANGELUS BELLE 2
BELL tolls. Three quiet maiden runs in sprints and goes in trip for this handicap debut. Watch for a market move.
FINN STAR 1
NO Star. Only modest form so far in maidens including when well beaten at Chelmsford latest. Needs to improve on this first crack at a handicap.
BLUE CURACAO 5
TRUE Blue. Was unlucky on handicap debut at Southwell least time, finishing strongly but being hampered a couple of times. Her mark looks fair and she doesn’t need much more.
SILKY SMOOTH 3
SMOOTH operator. Not shown a lot over 7f on three runs so far but may improve for this move to mile making his handicap debut.
GREAVSIE 3
GREAVSIE may score. Best effort came when winning over this trip on soft at Ffos Last in September and not beaten far at Kempton last time. Place claims.
READY RECKONER 4
GET Ready. Down the weights despite showing a little promise at Lingfield last time. Tries cheekpieces here which may help.
UNFORGETABLE MOVE 1
MOVE on. Has left Hugo Palmer after showing nothing in a Yarmouth handicap last time out in October. Needs the change of stable to wake him up.
TENACIOUSLY 1
NO perfect ten. Struggled so far but that means he starts handicapping from a pretty low mark. Still has lots of improving to do.
LITTLE ROMAN 3
BIG Little. Not disgraced on handicap debut at Wolverhampton last time and moving up to this mile should help. Not out of this.
TOLLERTON FOREST 1
CHOP Forest. Has hardly beaten a horse home on her three runs so far so needs this handicap debut over a longer trip to bring major improvement.
ALICEFROMUMBRIDGE 1
TAKE Umbridge. No show every time she’s seen a racecourse and needs a significant leap forward.
SPEZIATO 4
SPEZ-IAL. Showed a little more when sixth on handicap debut at Chelmsford and could improve for this extra furlong.
