CABURN (2.25 Doncaster, nap)
Can scoop the fantastic £192,000 first prize in this red-hot sales race for up and coming trainer Jack Jones. He has already shown his liking for these big-field contests by seeing off 18 rivals to scoop the Super Sprint at Newbury in July. Dylan Hogan’s mount showed sharp speed to grab that big pot which earned him a crack at the Gimcrack Stakes at York last time out. He more than held his own in that classy contest and was finishing strongly up the Knavesmire. This slightly longer trip should be ideal and he can take another step forward on just his third racecourse run.
PROMETHEAN (4.10 Doncaster, nb)
Can confirm his promise for in-form trainer David Menuisier. This improving three-year-old was beaten in a photo at Newmarket last time when the line came a heartbeat too soon. He was asked to come from a long way back at HQ and hopefully Sean Levey will have him closer to the pace today.
MISTRAL STAR (3.35 Doncaster, nb)
Can live up to her name by taking the Park Hill Stakes. Hughie Morrison’s daughter of Frankel should relish this step up in distance and there’s a lot more to come.

ART DESIGN clocked a big personal best when winning at Southwell last time. The winning margin was only a neck but she didn’t hit top gear and has more to come.
She’s good on turf too as she showed with a good third at Newmarket.
Toomuchforme has every chance on this handicap debut after a good third at Newbury last time. She’s got every chance provided there isn’t too much rain.
Dear Cat went from the front when scoring over 7f at Salisbury and that stamina could be an asset as there’s likely to be plenty of pace on again.
Silver Ghost has been knocking on the door and was second again at Newmarket latest. She’s up 3lb for that but has place claims again.
Eartha has been consistent over 5f and could figure if seeing out this longer trip on handicap debut from what looks a fair mark.

CABURN was doing all his best work at the end of the Gimcrack at York last time so this slightly longer trip should be ideal.
Jack Jones’ star came home with a real rattle and showed his liking for these events when winning the Super Sprint at Newbury two runs ago. There should be more to come.
Camille Pissarro was a place behind the tip at York on the back of a smart effort at The Curragh latest.
He has yet to win since his Navan debut but Aidan O’Brien continues in excellent form and he’s the danger.
Intrusively had to drop in class for a first win at Nottingham last time but he looked up to this level when a cracking third in the Richmond Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
He is best over this trip and is likely to make another bold bid from the front.
An Outlaw’s Grace has cheekpieces on for the first time after a good effort in a hot contest at York latest. He finished strongly and could hit the frame if not getting too far behind.
Hallasan is taking a hike in class after an easy Nottingham maiden win. You would expect him to take a fair step forward for Charlie Appleby and William Buick.
Moving Force has been running well without winning and was just over a length off the pace in a big field at York latest.

DESERT FLOWER has won both starts without breaking sweat and can show why she’s near the head of next year’s 1,000 Guineas betting.
She caught the eye when scooting in on debut at Newmarket over 7f and matched that form back at HQ last time. She shapes as though this mile will bring more improvement.
Ecstatic comes from Ballydoyle after breaking her maiden nicely at Tipperary latest. She is bred to want further than this in time but has plenty of speed and is dangerous under Ryan Moore.
Despite jockey bookings, the other Aidan O’Brien runner January is not without a chance after clocking a decent time when winning at Tipperary.
Anshoda battled right to the line when taking the Group 3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood last month. That was over 7f but she’s crying out for this trip.
The issue could be the ground as she enjoyed it soft on the Sussex Downs.
Flight didn’t have a lot to beat at Sandown 12 days ago but it was a smooth success and this stronger company should bring improvement.
Elsie’s Ruan was a solid Group 3 third at Newmarket and needs more to figure.
3.35
MISTRAL STAR held her own in the Group 1 Yorkshire Oaks last time and should love this extra quarter-mile.
This Frankel filly landed the Listed Aphrodite Stakes at Newmarket easily in July and trainer Hughie Morrison has a good record with stayers. William Buick stays on board and can steer her home.
Night Sparkle is proven over this distance and shaped well when fourth in the Lonsdale Cup at York three weeks ago.
Her last run over this trip saw her narrowly beaten in the Lillie Langtry at Glorious Goodwood which is strong form. She’ll be right there for Favourite columnist Andrew Balding.
Scenic ran her best race of the season when winning a York Listed race over 1m4f 21 days ago. She had the race wrapped up a long way out and finished strongly so should stay.
Grateful was below par in the Lillie Langtry after winning a Fairyhouse Group 3 over this trip in July. Aidan O’Brien stayers are always respected and she should be an each-way price.
4.10
PROMETHEAN looks a winner in waiting for in-form David Menuisier. He should be coming here off a victory but the finishing line came a stride too soon at Newmarket last time.
He had too much ground to make up over the mile there and should relish this extra quarter-mile. He looks much better than his handicap mark of 85.
Victorious Street got off the mark on Southwell’s all-weather track last month. He was just getting going over the mile there and is another who will relish this stamina test.
We haven’t seen Harper’s Ferry since his modest run in a Royal Ascot Group 2 where 1m4f looked too far. He’s been gelded and connections clearly believe he’s better than this grade.
T’Challa had a bit in hand when winning over this trip at Newbury latest. He’s up 5lb against stronger rivals but will make a bold bid from the front.
