Timing really was everything for this Betfair customer, who stuck a £1 each-way bet on a seven-horse accumulator on all the races at Sandown.

The first FIVE horses in the bet all won with the excited punter looking at a mammoth payout of £335,000 if his last two selections won.

But as the sixth horse of this accumulator, Bangers And Cash, set off in the 4.10pm – our prudent punter had a change of heart.

The bettor decided to take Betfair’s cash out offer of £21,532 while the race was unfolding with their selection leading!

And that proved to be one of the greatest cash out decisions we’ve ever seen.

Bangers And Cash finished third to eventual winner Rose Of Arcadia, with the seventh and final leg of the accumulator Es Perfecto finishing flat last of an eight-runner field in the 4.40pm.
