Kokkinakis, 27, was in a tight battle with the Russian ace but managed to force a fourth set after losing the first two.

But the main drama of the third-round tie happened after the second set.

Umpire Katarzyna Radwan-Cho insisted that he was not allowed to use the toilet.

To which he said: “Alright well I didn’t know that rule, now you’re telling me I’ve got 50 seconds.”

He asked for an extension to the second break to use the facilities as he could not make it back in time for the resumption of the match.

During a five-set match, pros are allowed two toilet breaks but as it was still early into the clash, his request was rejected, leading to an X-rated rant.

He fumed: “Can you just be realistic and [give me] something decent for once? F***ing s***. We get two for a match.

“Do you want me to p*** on the court? Is that what you want? What do you want then?”

Kokkinakis then claimed that the rejection could have consequences for him.

He added: “I’m asking to go to the toilet.

“I like cramped in my last match because I couldn’t, so brutal.”

Kokkinakis won the third set but was not able to claim victory in the game as Khachanov won by three sets to one.

And the Australian vented his frustration at losing the game as he tweeted “F**k” in the aftermath.
