FRANKIE DETTORI rode the ‘easiest winner of his life’ on the anniversary of his 25,095-1 Magnificent Seven.
The world’s most famous jockey stung the bookies for £40million on the day racing changed for ever at Ascot.
Dettori went through the card at the Berkshire track in a feat that has never been matched since and probably won’t ever again.
But some 27 years later he had a far easier task winning a three-runner contest at racing HQ Newmarket.
Sent off 1-5 favourite, former Ebor winner Trawlerman never broke sweat as he won the £28,355 first-place prize by 18 lengths from 25-1 Island Brave.
Unfortunately, Roger Varian’s 4-1 chance Shandoz was pulled up early on after losing action.
Trawlerman made it two wins in two weeks after trouncing sorry rivals by 13 lengths for trainers John & Thady Gosden at Salisbury when last seen.

And Dettori never had to get serious in the saddle as the Godolphin-owned stayer cruised home without stress.
One punter said the dominant margin of victory meant it was ‘the easiest winner Frankie will ever ride in his life!’
Another said the race was like an ‘exercise canter’ while one added it was simply ‘too easy’.
Dettori, 52, knows he won’t get such a simple ride in the Arc on Sunday.
With a record six wins in the race to his name, no one has been better in the Paris blockbuster.
And though his mount Free Wind has been backed into around 20-1, she is seemingly some way off 3-1 favourite Ace Impact.
While it could be Dettori’s old rival Jim Crowley who has the best hope for British raiders in the shape of 11-2 second fav Hukum.
