‘F***ing trash’ – Arsenal fans fume as club increase season ticket prices by 5% but CUT number of games included
ARSENAL supporters have slammed the club for increasing season ticket prices by five per cent – even though there will be FOUR FEWER games included.
Gooners currently have to fork out up front for 26 home matches per season.

The Gunners look set to have Champions League football back next termRex
They include the 19 in the Premier League as well as five home European games plus two at the Emirates in the FA Cup.
Fans do receive a refund should Arsenal fail to meet those fixture requirements.
However, the North London side have now completely shifted that plan for the 2023/24 campaign following a consultation with supporters.
From now on, the 19 home top-flight games and three additional European ones will be included.
And even though the number of matches has gone down, the price has gone up by five per cent for a general admission season ticket.
Lower tier season ticket prices have risen by six per cent while there has been a four per cent hike in the upper tier.
Premier League leaders Arsenal seem certain to be in next season’s Champions League and they have told fans that they are actually looking at a £113 reduction rather than if they had been in the competition this season.
A club statement read: “The move follows ongoing feedback from season ticket holders who want more flexibility around attending matches and to support our desire to make more tickets available to our growing membership base.

“Removing the four cup credits from the season ticket will also make up to 150,000 additional match tickets available for members to purchase next season.”
And it added: “If we qualify for the Europa League next season, it will leave full-price adult season ticket holders paying on average £76 less than they are currently paying this season.”
While some supporters will be please at the news, other have vented their anger on Twitter following the announcement.
One wrote: “Why is my LOWER tier season ticket price increasing by 6% but the UPPER tier prices are only increasing by 4%?
“Why would you penalise lower tier members? Price adjustments should be equitable across all members. Rubbish.”
Another commented: “Arsenal have announced they’re raising prices by 5%, which is obviously f***ing trash.
“Guess they figured if they announce it while we’re still top there’ll be less uproar.”
While another added: “So Arsenal season tickets have gone up 8% in two seasons.”
However, another tweeted: “They have to, it’s called inflation.”
With a fellow fan saying: “Well context matters. The 4 ‘fewer games’ are games that wouldn’t be guaranteed but that fans have been pre-paying for previously.”
