Fans stunned by incredibly rare ‘triple Robin Hood’ darts feat and say ‘what are the chances?’
DARTS fans were left utterly astonished after Rob Collins accidentally threw what was described as a “triple Robin Hood” in the MODUS Super Series.
Collins, 45, claimed a 4-3 victory over Adam Lipscombe on Friday.

But it was one particular moment during the fourth leg which left everybody stunned. Collins began his visit with a standard treble 20, but it was from there where things took a turn.
He threw his second dart and it pierced the back of his first, getting stuck in its flight.
This is known in the sport as a “Robin Hood”.
But what made the moment even more remarkable was that Collins’ final dart then did the exact same thing as all three were caught in one another.
This meant he only scored 60 with what has to be described as a “double Robin Hood”.
But one of the darts commentators went even further by describing it as a “triple Robin Hood”.
One of the broadcasters said: “Oh my word. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a double Robin Hood.”
Before the other replied: “It’s the triple Robin Hood.”

And fans piled in with their responses after the MODUS Super Series shared the clip alongside the tweet: “OH MY GOD!! WHAT HAVE WE JUST SEEN?!
“IT’S ATRIPLE ROBIN HOOD!!! WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?! ”
One social media user replied: “Odds on that hahaha.”
While another added: “Anybody else think it should be a 180 .”
A third said: “Should get double points for that.”
And a fourth responded: “What happens after I ask the genie for three perfect darts.”
