FA Cup Semi-Final: Two Man City Stars In Doubt Ahead Of Liverpool Clash

Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker might be missing out as Manchester City host Liverpool in another trophy race this weekend.

Naija News understands that the two English Premier League clubs will battle through the FA Cup semi-final tomorrow at the Etihad stadium.

This is coming a few days after the two giants settled for a point each as their EPL second leg match ended in a 2-2 draw.

In a pre-match interview, City manager, Pep Guardiola, said Bruyne and Walker were absent from training on Friday.

Guardiola noted that both players are in doubt to face Jurgen Klopp’s men, though they will be assessed ahead of the trip to Wembley, he said.

De Bruyne and Walker picked up the knocks during their goalless draw at Atletico Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, Naija News understands.

At his pre-match conference, Guardiola said: “We will see tomorrow about De Bruyne and Walker.

“Ruben Dias trained today and we will see about him.

“Kyle would have remained on the pitch. He had a big twist but it is getting better. In football, these kinds of things happen but we will adapt and adjust.

“Kevin has stitches in his calf. It is not a muscular injury.”
