Ex-Man Utd ace Jesse Lingard on verge of shock free transfer to South Korea after eight months unemployed
JESSE LINGARD is on the verge of completing a shock move to South Korean side FC Seoul.
The former Manchester United midfielder has been a free agent since leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer.
According to Sky Sports, Lingard has verbally agreed a two-year deal with the option of a further year to join FC Seoul.
He is expected to fly to South Korea to complete the deal in the coming days.
The 31-year-old had previously been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this month.
However, Al-Shabab were unable to complete the deal before the Saudi Pro League window slammed shut.
A number of Turkish clubs had also been monitoring Lingard, who even offered himself to Barcelona.
