Cristiano Ronaldo has staggering £173m Saudi Arabia offer on table as Al Nassr confirm plans to try to seal deal

CRISTIANO RONALDO can move to Saudi Arabian club al Nassr in a £173MILLION deal – but would still prefer a European move.

The Portugal legend, 37, hopes to stay in the Champions League.

But it’s thought the free agent has been struggling for offers since Manchester United terminated his contract last month.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano says Al Nassr have now confirmed their huge bid to Ronaldo‘s camp, including a deal until June 2025.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus frontman is tipped to make up his mind within days.

Chelsea and Ron’s old club Sporting Lisbon were rated as possible destinations before Portugal’s disappointing World Cup.

But so far no definite interest from any leading European club has emerged.

Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Juve have been mentioned since the summer.

But Bayern Munich publicly ruled themselves out of approaching Ronaldo.

His patchy first half of the season under new Old Trafford boss Erik ten Hag crumbled completely when he gave Sun columnist Piers Morgan an explosive interview with TalkTV in November.

Ronaldo claimed he felt United had “betrayed” him and revealed he had “no respect” for Ten Hag.

Old Trafford chiefs promptly dispatched him.

And he fared little better in Qatar, where he was benched for Portugal’s last two matches, albeit coming on both times.
