Conor McGregor reveals four-part docuseries on Netflix will air before UFC return as star lands executive producer role

CONOR McGREGOR has revealed a four-part docuseries on Netflix will air before his UFC return for which he will be an executive producer.

McGregor, who starred in a behind-the-scenes movie The Notorious released in 2017, teased a new documentary on Netflix this year.

And he has now lifted the lid on details of his latest role on Twitter when probed by fans.

On the length of the docuseries, McGregor said: “Series. 4 part. I have just completed executive production of the first episode. It is riveting.”

McGregor, 34, is yet to return since breaking his leg in the first round of his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, 33, in July 2021.

He has been ruled out of fighting until 2023, having undertaken his first Hollywood role.

McGregor is starring in a reboot of Patrick Swayze’s 1989 classic Roadhouse, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

And he claimed his Netflix series will be fully unveiled before his debut on the big screen is released.

McGregor posted: “This documentary will be out before my next fight, episode 1, of 4.

“And the full 4 will be out before my Hollywood debut in the notorious “roadhouse”.

“You’re bout to see what’s what here. And it ain’t free.”

McGregor revealed he is set to enrol in United States Anti-Doping Agency – the UFC’s testing partners – in February to pave the way for his return.

He tweeted: “I am clear for testing in February. I will complete my two tests per USADA and we are booking a fight.”
