Saraki, a former governor of Kwara State, stated that he would continue to consult with youths because they play a decisive role in the main opposition party.

He disclosed that he met with the National Youth Leader of the PDP, six zonal youth leaders and all 36 State youth leaders.

Saraki wrote: “Our young people play decisive roles in our party. This is why, as we continue to consult critical stakeholders in the @OfficialPDPNig, today, it was a pleasure to meet with our National Youth Leader; our 6 Zonal Youth Leaders; and all 36 State Youth Leaders!”

For the opposition party’s ticket, Saraki is up against former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State; Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State; Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State; former Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim; former Governor of Ekiti State,  Ayodele Fayose; former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi; Media mogul, Dele Momodu and others.
