Betfair pay out £1200 on punter’s LOSING England bet after Harry Kane & Marcus Rashford France heartbreak

ONE Betfair punter’s betting ‘injustice’ was overturned when the bookie paid out over £1200 on a LOSING BET.

That was all thanks to ambassador Patrice Evra, who picked out the lucky bettor from a whole host of unlucky losers.

Ex-Manchester United star Evra then selects at least one that he feels has been hard done by, with the firm then paying out the bet.

This weeks was a £5 ‘OddsOnThat’ selection during the England-France World Cup quarter final.

The customer needed Harry Kane to record 2+ shots on target in each half and England to record at least nine efforts on target as a team.

England skipper Kane delivered his end of the bargain (sort of) when he made club team-mate Huge Lloris work twice either side of the break.

With eight attempts on target from the Three Lions, the punter must have been counting his cash when England were awarded yet another penalty kick.

The losing bet was overturned for a big win

You could only imagine the dismay – like in many pubs and living rooms across England – when Kane blasted it well over the bar.

With well over five minutes left following that miss, there was still time for England to throw the kitchen sink at the French.

But with Harry Maguire’s header clipping the post, it looked like not being their day.

One final big attempt came in the closing seconds, when Marcus Rashford had a free kick opportunity 22 yards out.

His dipping effort landed on the roof of the net and would mean England crashing out and leave this punter a shot on target away from a huge win.

But sending it into Betfair and #EVAR, they decided to pay out the 250/1 punt, meaning a cool £1255 from a £5 stake.

Not bad, a couple of weeks before Christmas….
