Bandit terrorists have threatened to kill a nursing mother and her child if the family fails to pay a ransom of 50 million naira
Naija News recalls that on Friday, July 17, 2022, bandits broke into Tudun Mun Tsira Village of Zangon Shanu, Samaru in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State and kidnapped the heavily pregnant woman who had come to see her sick mother.
She later gave birth while in captivity.
Kabir Yusuf, the victim’s younger brother, told journalists in Kaduna on Monday that the bandits had reached out to them and demanded a ransom of 50 million which must be paid within a day or they would kill the murder and newborn.
Yusuf, who has been negotiating with the bandits since his sister was abducted, called on well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid by donating generosity to save his sister from the hand of bandits
He said that the family have sold all they could and raised a sum of N6.5million but the bandits rejected the amount.
He explained that they appealed to the kidnappers to accept the money as it was all they could raise but they blatantly refused to accept the amount.
The Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige, did not pick his call when contacted for confirmation.
