Aymeric Laporte set for Man City transfer exit as club accept offer for defender after he falls down pecking order

MANCHESTER CITY have accepted a bid from Al-Nassr for Aymeric Laporte, according to reports.

And the defender is open to a move to the Saudi Arabian giants, report The Athletic.

Laporte, 29, lost his place in the City squad last season with Pep Guardiola preferring Manuel Akanji and Nathan Ake.

The Spain international was reduced to just 12 Premier League appearances.

City have since signed Josko Gvardiol, splashing out a world record fee to land the £78million centre-back.

That has pushed Laporte further down the pecking order although he did make a substitute appearance in the 3-0 win over Burnley last Friday.
