Arsenal vs Tottenham preview
Arsenal and Tottenham clash in the north London derby on Sunday.
And it’s the Gunners who enter the contest as 7/10 odds-on favourites to secure maximum points and bragging rights over their bitter rivals, who are available at 17/5 to clinch a famous win.
It’s fairly rare that both sides meet in rude health, but that’s exactly the case in Sunday’s showdown with both Arsenal and Tottenham unbeaten in the Premier League this season.
Arsenal extended their unbeaten start in comprehensive fashion as they thumped PSV 4-0 in the Champions League on Wednesday. The Gunners have won six of their seven matches this season, drawing the other against Fulham.
A dramatic late victory over Sheffield United last weekend ensured the feel-good factor at Tottenham continued with their fourth-successive top-flight win.
The pair have identical records after five matches, though Ange Postecoglou’s side sit in second position with a better goal difference (+8).
Arsenal recorded a first Premier League double over Tottenham since 2013-14 last season, and have only lost once to Tottenham on home turf since 2010.

Arsenal vs Tottenham betting tips
Goals shouldn’t be in short supply on Sunday. Both sides are forward-thinking and bursting with attacking talent.
Arsenal have scored a fairly modest 13 goals in all competitions this season, but home fixtures bring out the best in this team with 11 of those arriving at the Emirates Stadium.
As for Tottenham, nobody has had more attempts on goal this season with 101 efforts in five league outings. Postecoglou’s side are averaging a chance every 4.9 minutes, but have conceded more chances on target than Arsenal and City combined (24).
The Gunners are averaging a chance every 6.4 minutes, but have conceded at least once in five of their last six home fixtures in all competitions.

Tottenham haven’t been shy of a few cards this season. Spurs have collected a league-high 17 yellows in five matches, giving them an average of 3.4 bookings every 90 minutes.
And given the nature of the fixture, we expected that tally to grow significantly on Sunday. Robert Jones will be officiating, and Spurs fans should be familiar with him received FOUR yellows in their season-opener against Brentford.
Jones has dished out 36 cards in eight games this season, while only Crystal Palace and Manchester City have received less bookings than Arsenal’s seven.

Ode to Martin…
Superstar Martin Odegaard is available at 23/10 to score this weekend, and add to his tally of two goals in five appearances against Tottenham.
The Norwegian, 24, has three goals in his first seven games of the season and appears to have taken penalty duties away from Bukayo Saka. No Arsenal player has had more efforts one goal than Odegaard (16), who is averaging an effort every 27.4 minutes.
