Arsenal legend Thierry Henry will be at Newmarket to cheer on horse owned by NBA player Tony Parker
THERE will be some some French va-va-voom on and off the track at Newmarket this weekend.
Because legendary Arsenal striker Thierry Henry will be heading to the races on Sunday to cheer on Ramatuelle in the 1000 Guineas.

The filly, who is a general 10-1 chance with the bookies, is trained in France by Christopher Head and owner by ex-NBA basketball player Tony Parker.
He played as a point guard for the San Antonio Spurs for 17 years in the USA and is good pals with World Cup winner Henry, who netted 174 times for Arsenal including 30 goals during their ‘invincibles’ season in 2003-04.
The striker will definitely add some glamour to a brilliant day of racing, and Head is among those looking forward to meeting him.

As for the horse, Head, who recently had to cope with the blow of multi-millionaire pizza tycoon Leopoldo Fernandez Pujals taking 22 horses away from his yard, is feeling confident.
She won three times last year and was just touched off by Vandeek in the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest last August, while she finished a good second on her first run of the season last month.
He said: “She was ready for her first race but now she has another level of preparedness for the Guineas.
“We believe we have a filly good enough to win a Guineas so we didn’t want to miss the chance.
“She is in great form, I have no concerns about her handling the track at Newmarket. I hope she will run a good race.”
