Alejandro Garnacho ‘monitored by Champions League giants’ as furious Man Utd fans say ‘tell them £250m minimum’

ALEJANDRO GARNACHO is being monitored by Real Madrid, according to reports.

But furious Manchester United fans told their club to demand a world-record fee if they were to sell the rising star.

Fichajes state Los Blancos are keeping a watchful eye on the 19-year-old winger.

And the pursuit is being headed up by Real’s chief scout Juni Calafat.

It is understood the 14-time European champions want to add the Argentine to their potent attack.

However, should he make the shock switch to the Bernabeu, Garnacho would be up against the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo for a place in the starting XI.

But Red Devils supporters are desperate to keep hold of their exciting young talent.

One said: “Tell them £250m minimum.”

Another wrote: “They can closely monitor my a***, he’s ours.”

A third added: “Our star boy is not for sale.”

A fourth replied: “Tell them they can have him in 20 years.”

And a final user quipped: “Would they like an MUTV annual subscription?”

Garnacho joined the United academy from Atletico Madrid in 2020.

He made his first-team debut in April 2022 and enjoyed a breakout season last term with five goals and five assists – although he missed two months of the season through an ankle injury.

The youngster, who missed out on the No7 shirt, will be confident of kicking on in 2023-24, though – especially after signing a new five-year deal in April.

Fellow winger Antony is currently on a leave of absence by United amid allegations of domestic violence against the Brazilian, who denies any wrongdoing.

And Jadon Sancho has been banished from the first team after his public spat with manager Erik ten Hag, with the Englishman claiming the manager made him a “scapegoat”.
