Abductors Of 19-Year Old Ondo Lady Demand N10 Million As Ransom

Abductors of a 19-year-old young lady identified as Adetutu Okibaloye, who has kidnapped in Imoru town the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State, have demanded a ransom of N10 million before they release her.

Naija News reports that Okibaloye was kidnapped from her home in Ondo State alongside two others when suspected gunmen invaded their home.

It was gathered that after threatening to kill their victims, which included Okibaloye’s aunt, two of them escaped from their abductor while taking them into the forest.

But the suspected gunmen had before their escape inflicted different levels of injuries on them.

The kidnappers, who this platform understands contacted the family of their victim, are therefore asking for a ransom of N10 million to free Okibaloye, who is the only one still captive.

However, the Ondo State Police spokesman, SP Funmilayo Odunlami Omisanya, who confirmed the incident, said to Nigerian Tribune that the case has not been reported officially to the police.

Omisanya said it was the Divisional Police Officer in the town, who confirmed the incident confirmed when a monarch of the town called him on Saturday that three people were abducted in the town during the election.

A family source, however, disclosed that operatives of the Ondo Amotekun corps have been on the trail of the kidnappers.
