5 FALSE MYTHS ABOUT SEX PEDDLED BY SOME CHRISTIANS/DENOMINATIONS
1) SEX IS UNHOLY
Once in history, it was believed that sex was unholy, and that the holy spirit left a married couple whenever they were were having sex, so couples were advised to do it in a hurry.
Please and Please, Sex was designed by God himself for the married couple ..
SEX is HOLY, in fact it is another HOLY COMMUNION a couple should take as often as they like with all sense of purity and Holiness.
Sex is not Unholy in HOLY MATRIMONY.
2) SEX IS NOT MEANT TO BE ENJOYED
The church once believed and some still believe that Sex was only designed for PROCREATION, and not for PLEASURE, but this isn’t consistent with scriptures.
Proverbs 5:19 “Let her breasts SATISFY thee at all times; and be thou RAVISHED always with her love.”
A couple are to ENJOY sex, as long as they are married, they are to engage in sex not just for procreation, but for pleasure. .
3) SEX MUST BE DONE IN THE BEDRROM
Quick question, was there bedroom in the garden of Eden?
Sex is not to be confined to any particular location in the home, there’s no scripture backing this.
Do it anywhere in the house as the spirit leads you people, be it the bathroom, Kitchen, garage, store, or Parlor. Spice up your sex life.
Just be sure you have absolute privacy and zero risks of injury.
4) SEX MUST NOT BE DONE ON CERTAIN DAYS
Some persons believe that certain days are too holy and sacred for sex to be done, but where did we get that from?
“Remember the sabbath day and keep It holy”?
Sex is Holy, it cannot make the sabbath day or any day unholy.
It doesn’t defile a married couple, neither does it defile a day,
You are only to desist from sex to engage in fasting purpose.
1 Cor 7:5 “Defraud ye not one the other, EXCEPT it be with consent FOR A TIME, THAT ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer;” or of course, health Issues
Do not deny your partner sex because it is Sunday except by mutual agreement or for consecration purposes.
5) SEX SHOULD ONLY BE DONE IN A CERTAIN POSITION.
Which position did the Bible tell us Adam and Eve were involved in?
The Bible prescribes no particular position.
I once heard a pastor say that the Man must be on top otherwise it is a sin, how does the gender of who is on top or who is under relate with sacred matters and spiritual business.
They are married, they are ONE, male or female, God sees them as One….
A married couple can get creative and do what pleases them, as long as you don’t break somebody’s child’s neck or waist in the name of snake in the monkey shadow.
As long as it doesn’t put your Wife/Husband at any physical/health risk, or go against their personal belief, as long as it doesn’t involve adultery, as long as it doesn’t involve pornography use, or anal sex, or bondage and sadistic sex…
A couple should be creative with and enjoy their sex llfe. God is glorified in this.
