2023: Wike Arrives At PDP Primary Election Venue

The Governor of Rivers State and presidential aspirant, Nyesom Wike has arrived at the MKO Abiola International Stadium, the venue of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential primary election.

The strong presidential aspirant under the main opposition arrived with his entourage around 5:23 pm dressed in native attire.

The presidential primary of the party is believed to be among Wike, former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki.

This is coming after a presidential aspirant under PDP, Nwachukwu Anakwenze withdrew from the presidential race for the Governor of Rivers State, Wike.

Though the presidential screening committee led by former Senate President, David Mark had screened the US-trained Medical Doctor out of the race.

Anakwenze in his statement warned that if the party change the rule in the middle of the game, no decent competitor would stand a chance to compete fairly.

He disclosed that he withdrew from the race due to the decision of the party to throw its presidential ticket open despite the zoning principle enshrined in the party’s constitution.
