The Nigerian Development Front, a political pressure group, has asked APC delegates to vote for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in the presidential primary election on 29th May.
The NDF’s president, Charles Adeyemi, stated this on Tuesday in an interview with Newsmen in Osogbo, the Osun State Capital.
According to Adeyemi, Osinbajo has shown competence while carrying out his duties as the country’s number two man.
Given his enormous experience compared to other competitors, Adeymi believes Osinbajo’s selection would be of significant benefit to the party and the county at large.
He said: “Osinbajo understands the country’s challenges more than any aspirant and will hit the ground running from day one”
“Delegates should consider the state of the nation over their pecuniary gains and vote for Osinbajo being the best in knowledge, firsthand experience, both national and international diplomacy.
“If Osinbajo emerges as the party’s flagbearer in the 2023 presidential election, he will ensure improved security, economic diversification, infrastructure development, among others”
