2023: Tinubu Meets UK APC Members In London [Photos]
The National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Sunday, hosted the UK chapter of the party in London.
Naija News reports that the members of the UK chapter of the party visited the presidential hopeful at his residence in the United Kingdom.
Photos released by Tinubu Media Office show the party members exchanging pleasantries and having discussions with the APC national leader.
The visit comes two days after the former Lagos governor arrived in the UK to see his family and consult with party stakeholders over his presidential ambition.
According to the spokesman to the APC national leader, Tunde Rahman, his principal’s trip out of the country is not health-related as speculated in some sections of the media.
Rahman said Tinubu travelled to the UK to hold some meetings and further consultations in regards to his 2023 presidential campaign.
He added that the former governor will return to Nigeria next week once the meetings and talks abroad are completed.
“Asiwaju’s trip to the UK (United Kingdom) is not to rest or because of any illness.
“While abroad, Asiwaju is maintaining a vigorous schedule of meetings and consultations on a range of important matters.
“Whether at home or abroad, the daily schedule of Asiwaju is vibrant and full. Most people couldn’t sustain his high level of activity. This speaks to his exceptional intellectual energy and his commitment to achievement.
“Asiwaju will return to Nigeria next week once this set of meetings and talks abroad is completed,” he said.
