2023 Presidency: Why Peter Obi Can’t Ask Atiku To Step Down – Adeyanju

A social commentator, Deji Adeyanju has revealed the reason the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, cannot ask his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to step down for him.

In a tweet via his Twitter handle on Sunday, Adeyanju said that ‘fear’ won’t allow Obi to ask Atiku to withdraw from the Presidential race for him when they meet.

He also slammed the PDP, LP and other opposition parties for failing to unite to defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Adeyanju asserted that the opposition parties are doomed to fail from all indications, adding that the APC presidential candidate may win the forthcoming presidential election.

He wrote: “Who will go and tell Atiku to step down for Obi? Fear will not even allow Obi to try it if he sees Atiku. Do you guys even know who these politicians are? LMAO!”

“The opposition parties are doomed to fail from all indications. You better all start adding 8yrs of Tinubu’s presidency to your age & also prepare for Agbado and Cassava.”

“My desire for the opposition is to be united into 2023. If they refuse, may they remain divided and I wish them what they wish themselves.”

“My prediction is that a divided opposition will hand over victory to Tinubu & APC easily. If you don’t see it that way, I also wish you well.”
