2023 Presidency: Don’t Provide Ammunition For Opponents – Bala Mohammed Warns PDP Aspirants

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been warned not to allow its members to provide campaign ammunition for opposing parties in the race to the 2023 election.

The campaign team of the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed who is also a presidential aspirant of the PDP gave the warning on Thursday in Abuja.

Speaking through the spokesperson of his presidential campaign organization, Prof. Udenta Udenta, Mohammed said some camps within the PDP, in an attempt to project their principals have formed the habit of talking down on other aspirants within the same party.

He cautioned that such attitudes and behaviours are not sending the right message to both the electorate and opposition party members and should be discouraged by the leadership of the PDP.

“The PDP must reign in those using uncouth language against other aspirants. We must not provide ammunition for opponents to use against us during the main campaign,“ Udenta submitted.

He added that the Bauchi State Governor has all the credentials and qualities needed to become the next President of Nigeria.

According to him, Gov. Mohammed has a nationalistic approach to all issues and his experience gathered over many years of serving the nation in many capacities including a Director in the public service, a Senator, and now Governor, he is the “most prepared for the task of providing leadership for Nigeria at the highest level.”

Prof Udenta said the PDP will be making the right decision by allowing his principal to pick the party’s ticket for the 2023 presidential election.
