2023: List Of APC Presidential Aspirants That Have Submitted Their Forms

Some presidential and governorship aspirants under the All Progressives Congress (APC) have begun to submit their expression of interest and nomination forms.

Naija News reports that some of the APC aspirants have turned in the forms ahead of the presidential and governorship primaries of the ruling party fixed for May 30 and June 1.

Recall that the APC presidential aspirants paid N100 million for the expression of interest and nomination forms, while those for governorship paid N50 million.

Aspirants for the State House of Assembly paid N2 million, while those for the House of Representatives paid N10 million, and that for the Senate paid N20 million.

Naija News has deemed it fit to share the names of APC aspirants who have so far submitted their nomination forms.

1. Yemi Osinbajo

The Vice President of Nigeria and 2023 presidential aspirant, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the party’s presidential primary election.

Naija News reports the forms were submitted on Wednesday around 9pm at the party secretariat in Abuja.

The chairman of The Progressive Project (TPP), Senator Kabiru Gaya and Senator Muhammadu Bulkachuwa led the group that submitted the forms on behalf of Prof. Osinbajo on Wednesday.

The forms were received by the APC National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Argungu at a brief ceremony at the party secretariat.

2. Bola Tinubu

Another presidential hopeful and APC National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms to the party.

Naija News reports that a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, Governor Babajide Sanwao-Olu and other APC stalwarts submitted Tinubu’s presidential forms to the party.

The forms were received on behalf of the party by its National Organizing Secretary, Alhaji Sulaiman Argungu.

3. Tunde Bakare

The Senior Pastor of the Citadel Global Community Church, Tunde Bakare, has submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms to the party.

Naija News reports that Bakare submitted the forms at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on Wednesday.

The politician and pastor expressed optimism that he will pick the presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress.

4. Ibikunle Amosun

Former Governor of Ogun State and presidential hopeful, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has submitted his expression of interest and nomination forms to the party.

Naija News reports that Amosun submitted the forms at the International Conference Centre in Abuja on Wednesday.

Amosun had said he has the requisite experiences in both private and public sectors to provide the needed leadership that will galvanise the country to achieve its destiny.
