2023: Dele Momodu Reacts To Wike’s Presidential Declaration

Presidential aspirant, Dele Momodu on Sunday reacted to the presidential aspiration of the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.

Naija News had earlier reported that Wike declared his intention to contest in the 2023 presidential election under the Peoples Democratic Party.

In his statement, Wike described himself as the best man to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Momodu in a post on his Twitter account noted that the declaration of the Rivers State Governor will bring robustness and excitement to the race.

He wrote, “I’m happy to welcome my very dear friend and brother, Governor Nyesom Wike into the presidential race. His declaration will certainly bring some robustness and excitement to the race that has largely thrown up four Northern aspirants and two Southern aspirants who have bought their forms.

“With Wike in the race, we now have former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (Adamawa, North East), Governor Bala Mohammed (Bauchi, North East), Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal (Sokoto, North West).

“Former Governor/Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki (Kwara, North Central), Former Senate President/Secretary to Federal Government, Ayim Pius Ayim (Ebonyi, South East), Publisher/Journalist Chief Dele Momodu (Edo, South-South and Osun, South West).

“Former Governor, Mr Peter Obi (Anambra, South East) was also reported to have joined the race but not sure he’s bought the form yet. Interesting weeks ahead.”
